Relying on the the technical expertise of its stakeholders, the organization activity is mainly focused on the development and updating of state-of-the-art technical regulations in sectors with a high technological and innovative content. Product safety, interoperability and efficiency are the main targets of the organization regulatory activity, whose primary aim is to prevent the risks that may occur when introducing innovative technologies on the market, thus promoting their diffusion. The organization is a member of the boards of the most important international standardization bodies relying on its technical competence and experience in the management of complex normative projects in international environments, including the ability to create consensus and to mitigate tensions and conflicts between different parties, if necessary.
