The project shall in a first analysis identify theoretical potentials for reducing CO2 emissions within a network with range optimised aircraft (ensuring that demand can be satisfied) by comparing global flights from 2000 plus 2014 and flights with range & seat optimised aircrafts plus with frequency reductions and network optimisations.
In a second step, the project shall describe potential impacts on stakeholders (passengers, manufacturers, airlines and airports plus people living in the near surrounding of airports). Proposals with sound approaches to quantify such impacts will be preferred.
