The European Commission announced on January 27th that Northern lights was awarded a €4million funding under CEF Energy to perform a FEED study for the expansion of their CO2 transport and storage capacity in Norway to over 5 million tonnes per year, to respond to the increasing demand in Europe. This funding was made possible by the designation of Northern Lights as a Project of Common Interest (PCI) in Europe under the 4th PCI list.
