The STOP-IT project is. The H2020 research project focuses on the strategic, tactical and operational protection of critical water infrastructures against physical and cyber threats. STOP-IT brings together a strong team of 23 partners from all across Europe and Israel to develop solutions to the most pressing problems. The team identifies risks and co-develops an all-hazards risk management framework and tools for the physical and cyber protection of critical water infrastructures.
In STOP-IT, PNO is in charge of exploitation of results and some of them are now available, such as the Public Warning Notification System, the Smart Lock solution Meklock and the Jammer Detector, among others. The project is going into the second stage now, where the developed solutions and tools are being tested at the frontrunner water utilities in order to be verified and adapted to local needs. Training activities are under development as well as an exploitation strategy for STOP-IT results. A first version of the STOP-IT platform that is going to contain all relevant STOP-IT tools will be released in November 2019.
