The publication of the Mini Development Contracts call is expected shortly, with €300 million allocated to support the green transition and the development of advanced technologies for sustainable, autonomous, connected, smart and safe mobility.

Eligible programmes may include the development, engineering, testing and production of new vehicles and mobility solutions; the development of components, systems and technologies; as well as industrial diversification and conversion initiatives towards strategic technologies. Productive investments may be complemented by research and development projects and staff training activities.

The incentive consists of a combination of a non-repayable grant and subsidised financing, covering up to 75% of eligible costs overall.

Applications will be assessed in chronological order of submission. Particular attention is given to SMEs, which are allocated 60% of the available resources, and to Southern Italian regions, which are allocated 40% of the resources.
