An important milestone has been achieved with the demonstrators events and test runs of Eidsvaag Pioneer and Zulu04, the two business cases of the Autoship project.

This initiative, funded by the European Union and coordinated by CiaoTech - PNO Group, represents the greatest challenge in autonomous navigation.

Autoship is making its way in the world of short-range maritime transportation and inland waterways, showcasing the use of autonomous vessels.

The cutting-edge technological package developed within the project includes fully autonomous navigation, self-diagnosis, prognosis, and operational planning, as well as communication technologies ensuring a high level of cybersecurity.

These demonstrations mark a turning point in the development of next-generation autonomous ships. We are closer than ever to the commercialization of autonomous maritime transportation in the EU, opening doors to endless possibilities for the industry.
