From September 24–26, 2025, the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) returns to Turin, bringing together over 200 delegates from 25+ countries. Once again, IFIB affirms its status as a leading global event in the bioeconomy arena.
The forum will feature insights from business and policy leaders on advancing the bio-based value chain for smarter, more sustainable innovation. The programme includes multiple sessions and three round tables focused on New Policies for the bioeconomy, Research Infrastructures and the shared pilot facilities, Biofuels and Sludges and organic wastes to develop new bioproducts.
Among the speakers - including representatives from CBE JU, the European Commission DG ENV, NatureWorks, Futerro, TotalEnergies Corbion, Novamont, IFF, and many others - our colleague Patrizia Circelli will join the roundtable "The Role of Stakeholders in the Bioeconomy" on September 25. During this session, BIONEER, C4B, MICROORC, and PyroCO2 - the main EU-funded initiatives in the bio and agro-food sectors involving PNO Innovation Italy - will be presented.
