From 15-17 June 2026, the BIONEER consortium gathered in Karlshamn and Lund, Sweden, for its M24 Project Meeting, hosted by Tetra Pak and Lund University. The three-day event brought together project partners to review progress, strengthen collaboration, and prepare for the next phase of the project.
The meeting opened with a visit to Tetra Pak's facilities in Karlshamn, where partners gained valuable insights into industrial processes and discussed opportunities for future scale-up. In Lund, consortium members presented the latest developments across the project's work packages, reviewed progress towards key milestones and deliverables, and aligned priorities for the remainder of the second reporting period.
Technical discussions focused on preparing for Work Package 4, with dedicated sessions on the scale-up of polycarbonate (PC) ingredients and UV-curable coating ingredients. The agenda also included updates on assessment activities, communication, dissemination and exploitation, as well as a visit to Lund University's scale-up facilities, providing further opportunities to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration.
The M24 Project Meeting marked an important milestone for BIONEER, reinforcing the consortium's shared commitment to advancing innovative bio-based solutions and accelerating their path towards industrial application.
