The national Circular Economy Call is aimed at financing research and development projects focused on the more efficient and sustainable use of resources.

The initiative targets Italian companies primarily operating in the manufacturing sector or in business services supporting the manufacturing industry, as well as research centers.

Projects must have a total value between €500,000 and €2 million and must aim to convert production activities toward a circular economy model.

Eligible projects may include:

• Product and process innovations related to efficient resource use and waste treatment/transformation
• Innovative technological tools that extend product lifespan and optimize the production cycle
• New models of smart and sustainable packaging

The incentive consists of a soft loan covering 50% of eligible costs and a non-repayable grant ranging from 10% to 20%, depending on the size of the company

Applications can be submitted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
