From August 5th to 7th, Matteo Bevione from the COgITOR project, had the pleasure of attending the 7th ASME Micro/Nanoscale Heat and Mass Transfer International Conference at the University of Nottingham, UK.
The event was a fantastic opportunity to share and explore important scientific topics with researchers from all over the world. Among the many discussions, one of the most stimulating was with Prof. Gang Chen, who gave a fascinating talk titled “Rethinking Evaporation.” They had an engaging conversation about the physics behind the significant increase in evaporation in hydrogels and how these materials could be explored in future studies.
During the conference, his work on the use of hydrogels in thermoelectrochemical cells, highlighting the advantages and challenges of the system, was also presented.
