Contributions for Digital and Ecological Transition

With the implementation of the new rules, SIMEST’s measure for Digital Transition is being strengthened, and the range of eligible beneficiaries expanded. The measure is open to all internationally oriented companies and is now extended to non-exporting companies that are part of a production chain, as well as to energy-intensive exporting companies or those that have undertaken certified energy efficiency programs. The opportunity allows financing for projects aimed at digital and/or ecological transition, such as investments in technological equipment, Industry 4.0–related investments and training, software and digital content, energy efficiency improvements, and environmental certifications. Companies can access a subsidized loan with a 6-year term at an interest rate of up to 0.321%, within the de minimis ceiling, combined with a non-repayable grant ranging from 10% to 20%, depending on the type of beneficiary.
