PNO Italy is proud to be part of COUPLED (CO₂ Utilisation Process via Looping tEchnology Demonstration), a Horizon Europe project officially kicking off in November. The project, coordinated by The University of Manchester (UK), unites 15 partners from 7 countries to demonstrate an integrated CO₂-to-fuel process that combines chemical looping, advanced membrane separation, and Fischer–Tropsch synthesis for the production of sustainable fuels and the decarbonisation of heavy industry.

The Kick-off Meeting will take place on 19 November 2025 in Manchester, where all partners will meet to launch this collaboration and take the first steps in the project. As leader of Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation activities, and an active contributor to the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), PNO’s role will be fundamental for maximising COUPLED’s impact, supporting knowledge transfer and market uptake of its results.
