The support measure for the internationalization of Italian companies affected by rising energy costs and the consequences of the Gulf conflict will open on May 25, with a total allocation of €800 million.
The call is addressed to SMEs and large companies with an international focus that have suffered a demonstrable negative impact, such as an increase in average unit energy costs of at least 10% or a reduction in turnover of at least 10%.
Projects may include, for example, expenses for the purchase of innovative machinery, energy efficiency improvements, and strengthening of capital structure.
It will be possible to obtain a non-repayable grant of up to 30% for small and medium-sized enterprises and up to 20% for large companies, in addition to a subsidized loan at an interest rate of 0.319%.
Further benefits are also, including extending the loan duration to 8 years, increasing the advance payment share to 50%, and raising the ceiling to €1.5 million for capital increases or shareholder loans.
