What if industrial CO₂ emissions could become the starting point for a more sustainable textile industry?
Turning this opportunity into reality requires more than technological innovation. It means connecting research, industry and market opportunities to transform promising solutions into real-world applications.
This is the challenge at the heart of THREADING-CO₂, a Horizon Europe project in which PNO Innovation supports communication, dissemination and exploitation activities, helping bridge the gap between research results and market uptake.
On 3 November 2026, our colleague Chandra Gracia Anweta will represent PNO Innovation and THREADING-CO₂ at ECOMONDO 2026 in Rimini, delivering a presentation entitled “From Research to Market: Transforming the Textile Industry through Circular Carbon Innovation.”
The presentation will explore how captured CO₂ can become a valuable alternative feedstock for polyester production, highlighting both the technological progress achieved within THREADING-CO₂ and the opportunities and challenges involved in bringing circular carbon innovations closer to industrial adoption.
For PNO Innovation, this is where research meets impact: supporting the journey from innovative technologies to market-ready solutions that can contribute to a more circular, sustainable and competitive European industry.
