The Lombardy Region has announced the launch of the Next Fashion call, allocating €13 million for research and development projects in the fashion, textile, and accessories sectors.
The call is open to both SMEs and large enterprises. Applications must be submitted by a partnership of 3 to 6 companies, including at least one SME.
Projects should focus on the development and adaptation of efficient and sustainable models for production, commerce, and services. They must have a specific impact in terms of technological and productive innovation and aim to enhance cross-contamination between high-value enterprises.
The total project value must not be less than €500,000, and no single partner may bear more than 70% of the eligible costs.
The call provides non-repayable grants covering: 60% of eligible costs for small enterprises, 50% for medium-sized enterprises, and 40% for large enterprises,
with a maximum contribution of €1 million per partnership.
