What happens to advanced composites at the end of their life?

PNO Digital is a partner of GIANCE, a Horizon Europe project bringing together research and industry to develop and scale up graphene and other 2D material-based solutions for more sustainable, high-performance applications, from automotive and aerospace to energy and water treatment.

As part of the project’s activities, on 20 October 2026, from 13:00 to 15:00 CET, GIANCE is organising a free online workshop focused on one key challenge: the recycling and circularity of advanced composite materials.

Experts from TNO, Fraunhofer ICT, Crossfire and HERA Group will share technologies and real-world approaches, from transforming composite waste into new materials to carbon fibre recovery and circular composite solutions.
