The Region of Lombardy has announced the upcoming publication of a new edition of the "Collabora e Innova" call, aimed at supporting research projects submitted in partnership between companies, universities, and research centers. The goal is to promote technology transfer and the adoption of new technologies within the production system.
The measure specifically finances strategic investments for the development of product or process innovations, with a minimum project value of €3.5 million.
Projects must be submitted in partnership by at least three entities, including one SME and one research organization, and may also involve large enterprises.
Initiatives must fall within one of the following areas: nutrition, health and life sciences, culture and knowledge, connectivity and information, smart mobility and architecture, sustainability, social development, and advanced manufacturing.
The Region will support the best projects through non-repayable grants ranging from 40% to 60% of eligible expenses, depending on company size, with a maximum contribution of €5 million.
