
The EU-funded MEASURED project is developing advanced membrane technologies - pervaporation (PV), membrane distillation (MD), and gas separation (GS) - to boost industrial sustainability through resource efficiency, emissions reduction, and cost-effective processes.
Supported by PNO Innovation’s Strategic Innovation Service Team, the project goes beyond technical development, focusing on market readiness, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies.
Key achievements include the creation of spin-off company X-MEM, identification of 11 key exploitable results, and selection of high-performing membranes for three business cases, aided by digital twin models and CFD simulations.
