On 11 February 2026, PNO Innovation took part in the BIC Matchmaking Event - a key gathering for innovators and industry leaders preparing for the CBE JU 2026 open call. The event offered a valuable opportunity to connect with potential partners, exchange ideas, and contribute to the development of strong and competitive consortia in the bioeconomy sector.

Represented by Patrizia Circelli from PNO Innovation Italy and Juan Carlos López from PNO Innovation Spain, PNO showcased the BIONEER and C4B projects, engaging with stakeholders interested in new collaboration opportunities. BIONEER highlighted its mission to strengthen bioeconomy innovation ecosystems by supporting SMEs, start-ups, and key actors in accelerating bio-based solutions. C4B emphasised its role in boosting collaboration and capacity building across bio-based industries, turning research and innovation into market-ready applications.

Through active networking and strategic discussions, PNO reinforced its commitment to advancing innovation in the bioeconomy - leveraging its expertise in project management, technology intelligence, dissemination, and exploitation to transform ambitious ideas into impactful European projects.
