On 13–14 October 2026, PNO Innovation Italia will be in Rome for Meet in Italy for Life Sciences (MIT4LS) 2026, one of the key meeting points for the Italian and international life sciences ecosystem.
Chiara Zocchi and Simona Mincione will represent PNO Innovation Italia at the event, connecting with researchers, healthcare organisations, companies and other actors working to turn innovation into tangible impact for healthcare.
Among the initiatives we will bring to MIT4LS is ONCOVALUE, an EU-funded project working to unlock the potential of real-world oncology data to support better evidence generation and more informed decisions about cancer treatments.
The connection with MIT4LS is particularly relevant. Topics such as data strategy and governance, value-based healthcare, clinical research and innovation are increasingly central to the future of European healthcare – and they also raise a broader challenge: how can we ensure that advances in research and data translate into solutions that healthcare systems can actually use?
This is where projects such as ONCOVALUE can make a difference. By improving the collection, harmonisation and analysis of real-world oncology data, the project is helping create the foundations for stronger real-world evidence and more value-based approaches to cancer care.
For PNO Innovation Italia, participating in MIT4LS is also an opportunity to strengthen the connections that make this transition possible: bringing together research, healthcare, industry and innovation ecosystems, identifying opportunities for collaboration and helping promising results move closer to adoption and impact.
