On April 17, 2018, the REE4EU partners were hosted by VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG, in Hanau, for their M30 Progress Meeting.

VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG is one of the key REE4EU partner, as leading global manufacturer of advanced magnetic materials and related products. The partners gathered to analyse the project status and organize the steps to be taken in the future, according to the project plans. SINTEF, Less Common Metals, PNO Consultants, Elkem and Inovertis presented the activities carried out in the last six months and plans for the next period. Mr. Bernd Schleede, ‎Director Product Management of VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG  gave a very interesting presentation on the company's history, products and manufacturing methods. This worked also as a very good introduction for the plant tour that the partners had later on during the meeting.
