Europe's industries rely heavily on rare earth elements (REEs), yet almost all these materials are imported, creating supply risks and strategic vulnerabilities. In this new video, project coordinators from SINTEF explain how the EU-funded project SUPREEMO addresses these challenges by building a sustainable, competitive and integrated European rare earth supply chain, from primary ores to separated rare earth oxides and magnet‑ready materials.
