In this paper a comprehensive computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model incorporating the Ru-based catalytic reaction model is developed to investigate and guide the mild NH3 synthesis, paving the way for distributed NH3 production.  Among the few CFD models of NH3 synthesis, our model is well validated by experimental data and advanced in terms of universality and accuracy, moving NH3 synthesis modelling to a more practical and larger scale.
