VERTI-GO is an EU-funded Horizon Europe project developing an innovative floating offshore wind technology based on a purpose-built vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) designed specifically for deep-water conditions. Building on proven TRL5 performance, the project aims to scale up a 2 MW demonstrator with improved performance and easier access for operation and maintenance. By advancing a more efficient and accessible design, VERTI-GO contributes to accelerating the deployment of the next generation of floating wind power and supports Europe’s transition toward resilient, self-produced, and clean energy.
