PNO Group's new CEO, Paolo Salvatore, will place even greater emphasis on strengthening PNO's international position and digital services offering in the field of innovation and funding consultancy. On March 26, Paolo Salvatore has succeeded Peter Zwart, who remains a member of the Group Executive Board.

With offices in nine EU countries and more than five hundred experienced consultants, PNO supports organizations throughout the innovation cycle, from strategy definition to implementation and with a particular focus on financing innovation projects. The projects PNO engages in represent a total value of more than €1 billion per year.

Since its establishment in 1985, PNO has developed into an international consultancy of stature, with a vast knowledge and large network in the field of innovation, from strategy definition to funding and implementation. Through targeted acquisitions, and through specialization in several industrial sectors and in AI-based tools, PNO has built a solid foundation to become the preferred partner for any organizations willing to pursue innovation and R&D.

According to Paolo Salvatore, PNO ambitions are driven by the consideration that innovation plays an essential role in addressing societal challenges in areas such as energy and climate, food supply, health and digital security. “In the enormous challenges facing the world today, innovation plays and will continue to play a fundamental role. The societal and climate challenges we are facing will stimulate and push organizations to innovate in an increasingly complex environment, where cross sectoral skills, network, public policies, and funding, will contribute to the solution.”

Salvatore: “Over the years, PNO has built an amazing knowledge on innovation processes, based on its profound relation with companies leading their sectors, institutions and even governments with which it collaborates on countless assignments.  We can now make use of such knowledge, on our deep understanding of public funding for innovation and R&D, and on our AI-based proprietary tools and methodological analysis, to support European organizations in their innovation challenges and contribute to make Europe a more sustainable, healthy, and inclusive society.”

PNO has offices in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
