- The project will be focused on co-creating a digital tool, integrated into existing online learning environments, that motivates students in higher education to better assess the collaborative learning process. Research has shown that reviewing the skills and attitude of peers stimulates reflection on one’s own.
- Moreover, the tool will effectively support the teaching process of cultivating 21st century skills, reducing free-riding within student groups, communicating (summative) assessments and providing new insights into the learning process.
- The project will provide guidelines for lecturers in higher education on how to effectively apply and organize peer assessment methodologies, without losing control over the (grading) process and without increasing the workload.
