Full description Nowadays data driven innovation is crucial for organizations to stay ahead. Also the sharing of data with supply chain partners is important for optimizing business chains. Unfortunately due to privacy regulations only 50% of the available data can be used. And breach of those privacy regulations will result in fines, damage of reputation and loss of clients. Classic anonymization techniques for data offer no solution since they cannot fully mitigate privacy risks and destroy the quality of the data. To solve this dilemma a Dutch scale up has developed a synthetic data-platform that mimics sensitive data with AI to a synthetic data twin. The engine in the platform is trained on the original data and generates a new and complete new and anonymous synthetic dataset. Due to the application of AI the value of the original data set is preserved. A highly realistic synthetic data set is generated that can be used as if it is real data but without the privacy risks. The company has already done quite some successful pilot projects in different privacy sensitive sectors such as hospitals and pharma. External assessment by a worldwide renown supplier of analytical software proved that the accuracy of the synthetic dataset was comparable with the accuracy of the original dataset. Now the self service synthetic data generation platform is available, it is time to expand.
