Description
Since 1997, a Korean company has been manufacturing environmental measuring instruments and monitoring systems for water, air, and odour. This company has proven environmental measurement expertise in Korea and has supplied its instruments and monitoring systems to local governments and large industrial sites. It also exports its system to China, Vietnam, Russia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Recently, this company is developing a technology to track pollution emissions by incorporating AI(artificial intelligence) technology into water and atmospheric monitoring systems. For instance, if AI technology is implemented to ‘odour’ measuring and monitoring system at industrial sites, the operator can identify the source of odour and respond to the accidents preventively and properly.

So, the Korean company is looking for European AI experts to help them develop AI-incorporated environmental monitoring system by participating in German-Korean bilateral joint R&D call or Eurostars-3.

If German entities have interest in R&D collaboration with this Korean company, the target R&D call is German-Korean bilateral joint R&D call and its deadline for submission is 30th September. Besides this call, this company is also opened for other country’s joint R&D projects, so the upcoming Eurostars-3 will be another option.
