Summary

A UK company is seeking a coordinator and program participant to complete their consortium, applying for the Horizon Europe call "Improved border checks for travel facilitation across external borders and improved experiences for both passengers and border authorities' staff" TOPIC ID: HORIZON-CL3-2021-BM-01-03. The consortium consists of 10 EU entities and a partner with experience in aviation/security and in co-ordinating EU submissions is sought via research development agreement.

Description

This Horizon Europe call is aimed at ensuring strong European land, air and sea external borders. This includes the development of strong capabilities for checks at external borders; being capable to carry out systematic border checks, including identity, health and security checks as necessary, while facilitating the travel of bona fide travellers and respecting rights and possible vulnerabilities of individuals.

A UK company with expertise in IT and cyber-security, has formed a consortium to apply for this bid that includes a Swedish university, a Belgian airport council and a Spanish airline institute (among others) and is seeking a final participant with experience in leading to head the application and lead the final project as coordinator.

The company or institute should have an interest and experience in contributing to the project, which aims to facilitate the processing of travellers and operational stakeholders at airports, seaports or land borders with a significant reduction in human contact or check points.

The deadline for EOIs in this profiles is 2 November 2021
The deadline for the call is 23 November 2021.

The participating partner should be eligible to be part of the call, to participate via NDA and research cooperation agreement.
