Project name:

HORIZON project idea LurenDa: Platform based formation of resilient and sustainable value networks using real time data value streams for the European aerospace industry - One partner from European law and data law are sought

Status: Idea
Creation date: 20-01-2023

Project objectives:

Short summary An international consortium (already 8 partners) with a German University as coordinator wants to develop a platform that enables end-to end- information networking along the supply chain through the exchange of real-time data. In order to complete the consortium, 1 partner from European law and data law are sought. The partner should be an expert in European Data law Compliance with all legal requirements for handling sensitive data governance. Deadline for Expression of Interests: 20.02.2023

Full description In the last years there have been many crises, such as the Covid 19 pandemic or the state of war in Ukraine, which have had a large impact for companies worldwide. Markets and supply chain collapsed, Bottlenecks occurred, and the loss of information led to production stoppages. In particular the aviation industry was affected by this development. To be more resilient and react to short-term changes and unforeseen crises, more transparency is needed along the entire supply chain. With the project idea LurenDa an international consortium with a German University as coordinator wants to develop a platform that enables end-to end- information networking along the supply chain through the exchange of real-time data. At the end the platform should help to create resilient and sustainable value networks to improve the ability to act in small and large internal or external crises. In addition, the transparent level of knowledge about material, quality and processing can be used to create synergy effects for sustainability. The platform is based on different types of data, like company data, production data, material data, logistics data, etc. There are two different use case: The first one is the manufacturing of a product by manufacturing for the aerespace industry. The second is the production of aerospace components as fibre composites. These use cases should be closely related to climate neutrality and circular economy. The consortium already consists of 8 partners. Coordinator is the professorship of Factory Planning and Intralogistics (FPL) of an University located in the East part of Germany, whose research content includes topics in the field of configuration, modeling, simulation and coordination of development and added value networks, quality, environmental and energy management systems as well as sustainable and flexible qualification concepts. In order to complete the consortium, 1 partner from European law and data law are sought. The partner should be an expert in European Data law Compliance with all legal requirements for handling sensitive data governance. Programme framework conditions: Call information: - HORIZON-CL4-2023-TWIN-TRANSITION-01-07: Achieving resiliency in value networks through modelling and Manufacturing as a Service (RIA) - Pillar 2 – global challenges and industrial competitiveness Europe - Cluster 4 – Digital, Industry and space - Destination 1 – a climate neutral, circular and digitised production - Deadline model: single-stage - Opening date: 08 December 2022 - Deadline date: 20 April 2023 17:00:00 Brussels time - Deadline for Expression of Interests: 20.02.2023
