Full description An Italian social enterprise composed of 16 different local social cooperatives and accredited with the local regional health care system in Italy performs a variety of activities including professional training, home rehabilitation services and home-care services. It is a medium enterprise, counting around 800 active staff, including collaborators. It currently manages the homecare needs of approximately 10,000 patients affected by chronic and oncological disease in 5 out of the 9 provinces of the Sicilian region. The company has recently started research activities with the aim of identifying novel clinical organisational models for the management of patients affected by neurodegenerative diseases. The proposed models aim to improve the standards of care for palliative care patients via Technological innovative telemedicine approaches. In particular, the company is interested in to evaluate and compare the performance of novel organizational models for the clinical management of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients via an observational study including a medium to large patient population. The comparison will be carried out using both clinical data and data reflecting the efficient use of human resources. The company is currently looking for EU partners involved in either the in-situ care and diagnosis, or the homecare treatment of ALS in any HORIZON EUROPE project which can include the above described topic. Calls of interest can belong to Destination 3 and 4 of Health cluster.
