Summary
An Italian and a Lithuanian SMEs have developed a technology that enables drones to spray phytosanitary products on crops. In order to participate in the 2nd open call of the H2020-funded AgROBOfood project, the consortium is looking for an end-user where testing and validating their aerial spot spraying system, under research cooperation. The partner sought is farm company with know-how of pest control treatments, whose main cultivations include e.g. vineyards, apples, pears, small fruits, etc.

Description
An Italian SME that develops customized drones and a Lithuanian SME with experience in ICT/IOT/AI have developed an aerial unmanned robot (drone) capable of spraying phytosanitary products on various types of cultivations.
The current TRL of the system is 6 and the consortium is working on the optimisation of the overall technology. As the next step before being commercialized, the drone needs to be tested and validated in a real operative environment to reach TRL 7.
In order to participate in the 2nd Open Call for Innovation Experiments of the H2020-funded AgROBOfood project, the consortium is looking for a partnership with an end-user, where testing and validating their aerial spot spraying system in a real operative scenario, under research cooperation. The desired end-user partner should be a farm company, whose main cultivations include e.g. vineyards, olives, apples, pears, small fruits, etc. Also, the partner should preferably have expertise in the application of pest control treatments and crop protection products.
