Full description The Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals is the public broadcaster managing the audiovisual media of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Grup d’Emissores de Catalunya Ràdio, in addition to the digital contents created by these media sources. We seek an innovative solution based on AI Image recognition or other technologies to identify diversity participation in CCMA media products (News, Tv magazine and sports broadcasting) to determine the participation ratio of sex, gender, and diversity minorities in CCMA programs and content. CCMA will provide a set of audiovisual contents and tagging categories: Program ID: • News, • Tv magazine • Sports broadcasting Participation of (minutes of exposure) • Female, male and other diversity minorities participation Role: • Program presenter • Journalist/columnist/reporter; • Expert; • Political guest; • Other speaker. The objective of this challenge is to identify the participation ratio in terms of presence and time of exposure of plural participation and intersectionality and determinate the best solution to scale up the model using AI and Machine Learning to recognize images, tag in automated processes and measure the time exposure of females, males and other diversity minority collectives.
