Short summary
French start-up based in Paris. Specialising in architectural and archaeological scanning, it has contributed over the years to the development of digital techniques for safeguarding and enhancing our heritage. A pioneer in augmented reality, in 2009 it developed the first mobile AR prototype for the reconstruction of the decor of the Cabinet of Charles V at the castle de Vincennes. Since then, it has produced mobile applications and VR experiences that have won international prizes.

HVS aims to revolutionize the world of audiovisual production and Extended Reality (XR). The production of virtual settings and décors made from 3D scans of sites represents the very future of digital production (cinema, metaverse, XR). The company’s expertise in 3D digitized models’ production is built on over 30 years’ experience: acquiring and processing historic monuments and works of art is our core business. HVS responds to several current objectives: · Environment – Reduce of environmental impact by optimising and reusing virtual sets, reducing the need for film and TV crews to travel to shooting locations. · Economy – Development of an economic ecosystem that benefits all players in the sector and notably the owners of the assets, thanks to data tracking and respect for rights holders. Establishment of partnership model with revenue sharing. · Heritage Conservation – Preservation of the digital footprint of monuments and works of art to safeguard the memory of humanity’s cultural heritage against the backdrop of climate change and political tensions. · Digital Data Sovereignty –Centralization of the digital twins produced in high-quality data and proposition of a data hosting service.
