On 5 & 6 December, 2023, the 3rd ReNEW General Assembly took place in Duisburg, Germany hosted by DST - Development Centre for Ship Technology and Transport Systems. The partners visited the impressive DST facilities including the 360 vessel simulator and 200 m-long basin for inland waterway research.

Last week, the Hubs4Circularity Community of Practice (H4C), in collaboration with A.SPIRE and a dynamic working group comprising mature circular hubs (Kalundborg, Eyde Cluster, Brightland Circular Space, Hoechst Industrial Park), conducted an interactive session at the Transition Finance event organized by Chemelot on November 29th and 30th, 2023. The session delved into Business Modeling and Blended Finance for Industrial Symbiosis and Urban Industrial Symbiosis, aiming to foster H4C and industrial symbiosis.

The THREADING-CO2 Project is entering its second year of implementation, and the first 12 months have witnessed a multitude of achievements towards the initiative's mission to significantly reduce the #carbonfootprint of the textile industry. 

AUTOSHIP, the groundbreaking Autonomous Shipping Initiative dedicated to propelling Europe into a new era of maritime innovation, succesfully built and operated two autonomous vessels – Eisdvaag Pioner and Zulu04: a living proof of operative capabilities that mark a paradigm shift in goods mobility.

PNO Consultants joined the 7th General Assembly of the INNOMEM project, held on November 22-23, at VITO premises, in Mol, Belgium, to explore and discuss the latest progresses made towards the development of a sustainable Open Innovation Test Bed to foster deployment and scale-up of innovative nano-enabled membranes and their derived products.

Next week, our Energy team will participate in two major events of this end of year: the CCUS Forum in Aalborg, and the PCI Energy days in Brussels.

On November 7th, 2023, the maritime future came alive as the AEGIS, AUTOSHIP, and MOSES projects joined forces in Rotterdam for their joint event, ‘Navigating the Future of European Waters with Autonomous Innovation,’ right in the heart of Europort, the international maritime exhibition and meeting place for innovative technology and complex shipbuilding, organized in the world port city of Rotterdam.

On November 7th and 8th, the WARIFA consortium met in Frankfurt (Germany) for the project General Assembly.

CiaoTech - Gruppo PNO joined with its stand Ecomondo 2023, the benchmark event in Europe for technological and industrial innovation in the field of green and circular economy, which took place in Rimini (Italy) from 7th to 10th November 2023.
